Faith Community Nursing

The role of the local church is to promote wellness and healthy lifestyles, rather than direct health care services. Faith Community Nursing/Parish Health Ministry functions as a referral and resource service to the church community. It is a visible means of identifying God’s love within that community. Wellness is the primary goal of the ministry.
