Farm Safety Day Camps for Kids
Farm safety for children is an important issue facing farm families today. Children are vulnerable to many of the same hazards as adults who live and work on farms, but may be far less capable of understanding those hazards. Farm Safety Day Camps are held in collaboration with the National Education Center for Agriculture Safety (NECAS) to help increase awareness of potential dangers around the farm and what to do in an emergency situation. Check the Community Calendar for upcoming dates.
Mercy’s Rural Health Services are located in the NECAS facility on the NICC campus in Peosta.
