The Alumni of Distinction Award was created in 1977 to recognize graduates from Mercy School of Nursing who exemplify the personal and professional qualities of a Mercy nurse. Candidates for this award are selected based on how the individual has distinguished themselves in their profession and personal accomplishments. Nominations for this award must be submitted via the nomination form. Additional letters supporting this nomination are encouraged. Nominated nurses will be asked to submit additional biographical information. This will assist the Board with the selection process based on a standard format. This annual award is presented at the spring banquet.
