- Lifeline is a personal response system which links
you to 24-hour assistance at the push of a button.
Lifeline benefits people who live alone, the elderly,
the handicapped and postoperative patients who want
to maintain a link to medical assistance.
- Lifeline is very easy to operate.
The subscriber to Lifeline is given a necklace or bracelet
to wear that has a small button on it. When the subscriber
feels that they need help, a simple press on the center
of the button connects them with the emergency room
nurse at our emergency response center at Mercy Medical
Center. The red button on the communicator can also
be pressed to get assistance. The Personal Help Button
is waterproof and should be worn while in the tub or
shower.
- The Lifeline unit is connected to an electrical
outlet in your home, and a telephone line is run to
the phone jack.
Complete installation and test calls usually take no
more than a half hour. For information, call 563-589-8791.
