You can be assured that the care provided by the physicians and staff at Mercy Medical Center consistently meets or exceeds nationally-published standards.
Patients suffering a heart attack, who arrive in the Mercy Medical Center emergency department, receive special "clot-busting" drugs to assist the flow of blood in blocked arteries. When necessary, patients are transported to the cath lab for emergency procedures (such as angioplasty, atherectomy and stenting) that can physically reopen blocked arteries.
