Lifeline - Reduce worry while you stay at home
Whether it's you or someone you love who needs help to stay at home, Lifeline Personal Response System can give you a genuine sense of security by linking you to 24-hour assistance at the push of a button. Lifeline is ideal if you live alone, if you are elderly and uncertain about your well being, if you are handicapped or a postoperative patient who wants to maintain a link to medical assistance.
Lifeline is very easy to operate:
- You'll be given a necklace or bracelet to wear containing a small button.
- Should you feel the need for help, a simple press on the center of the button connects you with an ER nurse at our emergency response center at Mercy Medical Center.
- Or you can press the red button on the communicator to get assistance.
- Your Personal Help Button is waterproof and should be worn at all times, even in the tub or shower.
Our installer will connect the Lifeline unit to an electrical outlet, and a telephone line is run to the phone jack in your home. Complete installation and test calls usually take no more than a half hour.
