Treatment for psychiatric disorders and addictions can help you enjoy a healthy life.  The Mercy Psychiatric Services Unit offers inpatient services for both adolescent and adult patients. Some of the disorders we treat include: Mood disorders including Depression, Mania and Bipolar Anxiety Schizophrenia Personality disorders Addictions including Alcohol and Drugs Treatment for co-occurring disorders is also available for those individuals who need both psychiatric and substance abuse services.

The Mercy Psychiatric Services team is headed by a board-certified psychiatrist and is staffed by a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, social workers, occupational therapist, and licensed counselors.

Treatment for Our Psychiatric Services Unit provides patients with a comforting, healing environment. Large windows provide natural light, and furnishings and warm colors create a sense of home. The unit also incorporates needed safety and security measures. A state-of-the-art call light system, motion sensor, and capability for video presence in court all add to the safety, security, and advanced technology of the unit.

In partnership with Medical Associates Clinic and Hillcrest Family Services, Mercy Psychiatric Services is the regional provider of comprehensive psychiatric services and the only full-service psychiatric facility in Dubuque.
