Do you have a complaint about the quality of care at

to Mercy Medical Center's Risk Management / Safety Officer, Jacquie Brunssen, at (563) 589-8086 or email her at brunssjm@mercyhealth.com.
You may also report the complaint directly to The Joint Commission (TJC) by phone or email (see below). You may provide your name and contact information or submit your complaint anonymously. Providing your name and contact information enables The Joint Commission to inform you about actions taken in response to your complaint, and also to seek additional information, if needed. Your name will be kept confidential and not disclosed to any other party. However, it may be necessary to share the content of the complaint with Mercy Medical Center in the course of a complaint investigation.
